Stepping out/over the bathtub became a physical hazard, so a walk-in shower was needed. That led to completely remodeling the entire bathroom. By far, my biggest concern was selecting a general contractor and crew who would do the job as promised - and do it with high quality, on time, on budget, and with minimal stress for me. I feared selecting the wrong general contractor would lead to nothing but huge disappointments. From the very beginning, Alex exemplified professionalism and pride at doing quality work. When Alex says he will make it right for the customer, he means it - and it is always done in a quality manner. At the start of the project, Alex gave me a projected timeline of benchmark activities. The remodel essentially proceeded as planned. He kept me informed of what to expect to happen each week. Alex does top notch, exceptional quality work and always strives to make the customer happy. When Alex makes a promise, he delivers. If anything happens that may need to be reworked, it is done - at times before I even mentioned it. The gut rehab/remodel was a rather stress-free experience. I now have a much safer bathroom and one that is both very functional and beautiful. I couldn’t be happier with how the bathroom now looks. I have worked with Alex and his team on a couple projects now, the latest being my entryway bathroom. Alex not only helped bring my idea to life, but also helped shape the idea. He has a ton of experience and was a great support for design consultation. Alex and his team are incredibly professional, always on time, and communicative. With the bathroom, we ran into an issue with the height of the vanity based on the plumbing. He gave clear options for fixing or leaving as is, and worked with my building to schedule a water shut down to solve. He also recently did a bookcase project for me - taking my IKEA bookcases and turning them into built ins. The project looks fantastic. Alex was really great to work with as a contractor. He came to our condo to assess the scope of our bathroom renovations within days of me requesting quotes on Houzz. He provided a scope of work and quote the following week. We started the process by meeting him at Studio 41 to select our vanity, fixtures, tile, sink, etc. on a Saturday morning and when we couldn't find the tile we wanted for the shower floor there he took us to another place. Still unsuccessful, he found what we wanted online and texted me the details. Alex's crew was very reliable, friendly, and good with our cats (who were right in the middle of everything). There were a few items installed that I wasn't pleased with but when I reported them to Alex they are fixed to my satisfaction the very next day, including reinstalling 100% of the tiles on my primary bath floor! There were a few hiccups along the way but Alex and his team took them in stride, always with a positive outlook. Subsequent to the completion of the renovations, I've texted Alex about other issues I've had in the house (broken dishwasher, kitchen sink faucet replacement) and he's continued to be responsive and timely in bringing his crew to the rescue. Alex is FANTASTIC to work with! Unlike many contractors, he's responsible, answers his phone and does what he says he will do! He worked with my interior designer and she absolutely loves him. Complete remodel of my kitchen, dining, living rooms, one bedroom and guest bath. Thrilled with the results. He was dedicated, honest and helpful through the entire process.
